Situated only five minutes from Wānaka’s town centre, Paddons Paddock makes the ideal location.
Everyone knows Central Otago vineyards marry with romance – and our small winery is the perfect destination for a celebration of love. Our vines are nestled amongst a stunning vista of scenic mountain views and mature trees which, combined with our rustic yet modern interior, create a beautiful atmosphere for your special day.

Your Locations
At Paddons Paddock, we offer a variety of location options for both your ceremony and reception, so you can handpick the backdrop and textures of your picture-perfect day.
Our licensed bar and cellar door can comfortably seat 80 people in a rustic setting, or over 100 people can enjoy the sunshine in our outdoor space with tables and chairs set out under the trees.
Your Wedding Package
We offer a range of small wedding packages, from intimate ceremony-only options to afternoon and all-day affairs. Bar service is provided from our wine bar, offering the full catalogue of Paddons Paddock Central Otago wines, beers and non-alcoholic options. We can also provide platters, pizzas and snacks - or you are welcome to arrange your own catering service or food truck and make use of our kitchen.
Our packages include:
- A Paddons Paddock coordinator to work closely with you or your wedding planner in the run-up to the event, set up, and be on-hand to assist with anything you may need on the day.
- A private area of your choice reserved for the day after the event for close family and friends. You can enjoy post-wedding celebrations over drinks and nibbles inside the cellar door, in the sun outside or even amongst the vines.
- Paddons Paddock bar service, offering all five of our locally made Central Otago wines, bubbles, beers and soft drinks.
- Full reign of our boutique vineyard, luxurious facilities and kitchen for your choice of catering options.
- Event layout arranged by Paddons Paddock to your exact specifications, including set-up and clean down.
Access
We are only 4.5km from the Wānaka CBD heading towards the Wānaka airport on the Wānaka-Luggate Highway, or one hour from Queenstown airport – making us the perfect location for guests from anywhere in New Zealand.
There is plenty of parking for cars, trucks and buses. A taxi ride to and from town is $15-$20.
